Back to Education Initiative
The Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) helps you to develop employable skills with a selection of flexible part-time courses that allows you to balance your education, work, and your life – and tuition is completely free for early school leavers over the age of 16, those in receipt of social welfare payments, or holders of a full medical card.
Upskilling and preparing yourself for employment does not have to interfere with your daily schedule as BTEI courses range from one evening to two full days. Some of the courses we offer include; Early Learning & Care (childcare) Healthcare Support, Office skills, ICDL, Computer Application and Business Administration. Courses are provided on a modular bases to give learners an opportunity to build their awards along side manageing the demand of work and home in a way that suits each learner.
Our helpful, friendly staff and productive learning facility creates the perfect atmosphere to achieve your goals and combined with effective course content and a variety of personal supports – you are closer to those goals than you think.
We intake students twice a year, in September and January, however applications are accepted all year round.
